Shanghai COCESS Special Alloys Co., Ltd. stocks GH1131 (old GH131, ЭЛ126 / Х21Н28В5М3БАР) — a Fe-Ni-Cr base, solid-solution strengthened wrought superalloy with Ni 25–30%, Cr 19–22%, W 4.8–6.0%, Mo 2.8–3.5%, Nb 0.7–1.3%, N 0.15–0.30%, Fe balance. No γ′, no aging. It works 700–750℃ long-term stressed, 900℃ continuous oxidation, 1000℃ short-time — and still welds and deep-draws like a sheet alloy should. We don't sell it as a nickel-base disk material; we sell it as afterburner liner stock, rocket chamber jacket stock, and flame-holder blanks that don't cost GH3044 money.

1. Plate & Sheet — Rolling Stock
Cold-rolled sheet: 0.5–6.0 mm (0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0/3.0/4.0/5.0 mm on hand), width 1000 mm, length 2000–2500 mm
Hot-rolled plate: 6.0–30.0 mm (8/10/12/16/20/25 mm on hand), width 1000–1500 mm, length 2000–6000 mm
Surface: pickled, solution-pickled (1130–1170℃ AC), bright annealed
Condition: solution-treated as default; three-stage aging not applicable (no γ′); final part anneal 1150℃±10℃ AC on request
Standards: GB/T 14996 / GJB 1952A (cold), GB/T 14995 / GJB 3317 (hot)
Use: afterburner can segments, combustion chamber skin, rocket thrust-chamber jacket blanks, flame-holder bracket blanks
Sheet stock is solution-treated at 1130–1170℃ and air cooled — thin sections (≤3 mm) soak 8–12 min, 3–5 mm 12–16 min. We do not ship cold-rolled work-hardened GH1131 as "solution" stock.
2. Bar — Round, Square, Flat
Hot-rolled / forged round: Φ8–Φ300 mm (Φ20/30/50/80/100/120/150/200 high turnover; Φ250–300 cycle stock)
Cold-drawn bright bar: Φ2–Φ80 mm (Φ6/8/10/12/16/20/25/30 stock), h11–h9
Square / flat: side 6–80 mm, width 20–200 mm
Length: 2–6 m fixed; cut pieces from 50 mm, chamfered sawn ends
Condition: solution-treated (1160℃±10℃ AC) default; black forged, rough-turned (leave 2–5 mm) available
UT: Φ≥20 mm to GB/T 6402 or ASTM E2375 straight beam; aerospace A-class on request
Typical solution-state tensile: Rm ≥735 MPa, Rp0.2 ≥343 MPa, A₅ ≥32%; 900℃ Rm ~180 MPa, 1000℃ Rm ~110 MPa
Bar stock is melted non-VIM induction + ESR or arc furnace + ESR. For aviation load-bearing parts we default to ESR route and say so on the MTR — single arc furnace without ESR is not released as GJB 3165-class.
3. Wire — Drawn and Welding Filler
Cold-drawn wire: Φ0.10–Φ6.00 mm (0.3/0.5/0.8/1.0/1.2/1.6/2.0/3.0 mm common), spool or coil
Welding wire (TIG/MIG): Φ0.8 / 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.6 / 2.0 / 2.5 mm, bright cleaned, no copper coating
Spring/tie wire: light draw 10–20% CW on request, but remember — GH1131 has no age hardening, "hard wire" means cold work, not heat treat
Standards: GJB 2612 (welding wire), GJB 3167 (cold-heading wire)
Use: homologous filler for GH1131 itself, or welding GH1131 to GH3030/GH3039/GH3044/GH1140 (process-qualified joints exist in Chinese aero shops)
Wire surface is bright-drawn or bright-annealed H₂/N₂; we don't ship drawing-soap wire for TIG — it poisons the arc.
4. Custom Forged Parts
GH1131 forges well but has a narrow window: ingot heat 1120℃±20℃, start >980℃, finish ≥900℃.
Open-die block / step shaft: single piece up to ~1500 kg dependent on ingot
Disk / pancake: Φ200–Φ800 mm, height 40–300 mm
Ring: OD Φ300–Φ1200 mm, wall 30–200 mm, height 80–600 mm
Profile: flange blank, burner housing ring, convergent segment preform, bolt-head preforge — by drawing
Supply depth: black forged → rough-turned (2–5 mm) → semi-finished (0.5–1.0 mm) → solution-treated (1160℃±10℃ AC) with furnace chart
Inspection: UT GB/T 6402 / ASTM E2375, PMI (incl. N 0.15–0.30%, Nb 0.7–1.3%), RT room-temp tensile, optional 900℃ tensile
MOQ: 1 forged block for trial, 3 pieces for profiled die trial
We do not make cast GH1131 turbine blades — it is a wrought/formed alloy, not a cast grade. If your drawing says "GH1131 cast", it is almost certainly a misread of GH2132 or a nickel-base cast alloy.
5. How We Write the PO (so it clears audit)
GH1131 (GH131) / ЭЛ126, Fe-Ni-Cr solid-solution, GB/T 14992-2005 H11310, cold-rolled sheet 1.5×1000×2000 mm, GB/T 14996 / GJB 1952A, solution 1150℃±10℃ AC + pickled, EN 10204 3.1, Cr 19–22 / Ni 25–30 / W 4.8–6.0 / Mo 2.8–3.5 / Nb 0.7–1.3 / N 0.15–0.30 / Fe bal / S,P≤0.020.
No AMS number exists — don't fake AMS 5536 (that's 718) or AMS 5878 (that's 230). On export MTR we state: "no direct UNS/AMS counterpart; chemistry per GB/T 14992 H11310; Russian equivalent ЭЛ126."
6. Stock Logic and Lead Time
Φ8–120 mm bar, 0.5–30 mm plate, Φ0.3–3.0 mm wire: Shanghai yard, 1–3 working days domestic, 5–10 days to port for export
Φ150–300 mm bar, 25–30 mm plate: 7–15 days rotation
Forged disk/ring: 4–8 weeks (forge + HT + UT)
Prototype: 50 mm cut piece, 1 sheet blank, 1 ring blank — all accepted
GH1131 is the iron-base economizer: 28% Ni, W+Mo ~9%, N+Nb boundary pins. We stock it as plate for liner blanks, bar for flanges/shafts, wire for homologous welding, and forge it into rings and burner housings — not as a substitute for GH3044, not as a 1000℃ loaded disk material.
