Shanghai COCESS Special Alloys Co., Ltd. is a China-based stockholder and processor of precipitation-hardened nickel-base superalloys. For GH4141 (old Chinese grade GH141, Western trade name René 41, UNS N07041, W.Nr. 2.4973 / 2.4982) we hold rotating stock in bar, plate, and open-die forged shapes, and run made-to-order cutting, machining allowance preparation, and custom forging under locked metallurgical specifications. Every shipment is traced to a unique heat number with EN 10204 3.1 MTR, not a generic "nickel alloy" certificate.
GH4141 is not a general-purpose high-temp alloy. It is a Ni-Cr-Co-Mo-Al-Ti γ′-strengthened grade for 650–870℃ long-term stress-bearing service and up to 980℃ oxidation/short-time duty. Typical aged-bar properties: Rm 1175–1300 MPa at RT, Rp0.2 880–900 MPa; at 760℃ Rm ~1103 MPa, Rp0.2 ~938 MPa; 760℃/276 MPa rupture ~1000 h; 815℃/165 MPa rupture ~1000 h; 870℃ is the practical long-term creep redline.

1. Certified Material Identity (No Grade Ambiguity)
We release GH4141 only against a triple-key identity:

USA: René 41, UNS N07041
Europe: NiCr19CoMo, W.Nr. 2.4973 / 2.4982
Product standards: ASTM/AMS 5545 (sheet/strip), AMS 5712 (bar/forging, aged), AMS 5713 (bar/forging, solution only for re-HT), AMS 5800 (wire); GB/T 14992 + GJB 1952/3020/3165 on request

Melt route for rotor/disk/fastener-class stock: VIM + VAR. VIM+ESR available for static sheet and non-flight-critical parts — never substituted silently.
2. GH4141 Bar Stock — Ready for Cut-to-Length
Hot-rolled / forged round bar: Φ10–Φ300 mm (high-turnover: Φ20/30/50/80/100/120/150/200)
Cold-drawn / peeled bright bar: Φ2–Φ80 mm (Φ6/8/10/12/16/20/25/30 common)
Square / flat bar: side 6–80 mm, width 20–200 mm
Length: 2–6 m standard; cut pieces from 50 mm up; chamfered sawn ends
Condition: solution-treated (1080℃±10℃ AC/QC) for customer final aging; or AMS 5712 Condition B (1080℃ AC + 760℃×16h AC); Route A (1080℃→1120℃×0.5h AC→900℃×1–4h AC) for disk/rotor inquiry
UT: Φ≥20 mm default GB/T 6402 or ASTM E2375 straight-beam; aerospace A-level on request
Use: turbine disk blank, shaft, bolt/stud blank, fixture, R&D coupon
Spot rule: Φ10–120 mm and common flats ship from Shanghai yard; Φ150–300 mm on 7–15 day yard rotation; >Φ300 mm enters custom forged bar.
3. GH4141 Plate & Sheet — Sheared, Sawn, Water-Jet Ready
Cold-rolled sheet: 0.5–6.0 mm (1.0/1.5/2.0/3.0/4.0/5.0 mm stock), width 600–1000 mm
Hot-rolled plate: 6.0–30.0 mm (8/10/12/16/20/25 mm stock), width 1000–1500 mm, length 2000–6000 mm
Surface: pickled, bright annealed, sandblasted, de-burred edge
Condition: mostly AMS 5545 solution anneal; aged plate on request (flatness fixture required)
Tolerance: GB/T 708 / GB/T 709 / AMS 2242
Cutting: shear ≤12 mm, band-saw 12–30 mm, water-jet for tight-contour blanks
Use: combustor mounting plate, interconnection duct blank, seal ring stock, test panel
Note: GH4141 has Al+Ti ≈4.4–5.3%; welded thin-shell assemblies need full re-solution+age and are SAC-sensitive. We supply plate for machining/blanking, not as a substitute for Hastelloy X in field-welded liners.
4. Custom Forging Service (Open-Die, Ring, Disk, Profile)
Open-die forged block/step shaft: single piece up to ~1500 kg dependent on ingot
Disk / pancake: Φ200–Φ800 mm, height 40–300 mm
Ring / shell preform: OD Φ300–Φ1200 mm, wall 30–200 mm, height 80–600 mm (radial-axial ring rolling on request)
Near-net profile: blade root block, mounting lug preform, bolt head pre-forge, turbine shaft with stepped upset — by drawing
Supplied depth:
black forged shape (ingot uniformized, forged, gates removed)
rough-turned / rough-milled (leave 2–5 mm)
semi-finished (leave 0.5–1.0 mm)
solution only / solution+age (Route A or B, furnace curve attached)
Inspection package: UT (GB/T 6402 / ASTM E2375), PMI, grain-size per GB/T 6394, room-temp tensile, optional 650/760/815℃ stress-rupture coupon
MOQ: 1 piece for stock-size bar-to-forging conversion; 3–5 pieces for new die/profile trial
Forging window we run: ingot homogenization → open die at 1100–1180℃ → finish forge ≥950℃ → controlled cool → heat treat. Because Co 10–12% and Mo 9–10.5% make GH4141 a hard-work alloy, we do not quote "any shape any size"; we confirm forgeability against section thickness and draft before order entry.
5. Cutting, Machining Allowance, and Delivery States
COCESS does not only sell material — it prepares it for your shop:
Saw cut: ±0.5 mm length, end chamfer, anti-scoring sleeve for small dia.
Water-jet / plasma: plate contour (plasma only for rough blank >10 mm, not for final edge)
Machining allowance: forged bar/disk default leave 2–5 mm radial/face; rough-turned deliverable to +0.5 mm.
Heat-treat state on PO: must name one of:
ST (1080℃±10℃ fast cool)
STA-B (1080℃ AC + 760℃×16h AC, AMS 5712 Cond. B)
STA-A (1080℃→1120℃×0.5h AC→900℃×1–4h AC, disk route)
Forged-as-is (clearly marked non-aged, not for direct stressed use)
Certificate: EN 10204 3.1, heat chemistry, melt route, UT result, HT furnace chart, tensile (RT minimum Rm≥1175 / Rp0.2≥880 / A≥12% for bar), optional elevated-temp tensile.
6. Export & Inquiry Package for Overseas Buyers
We serve inquiry-to-FCL buyers in aerospace overhaul, gas-turbine MRO, rocket-structure R&D, and high-temp bolting with:
HS code guidance (usually 7505/7506/7220 Ni alloy family per final shape)
Mill test certificate in EN/CN/EN+AMS cross-walk
Neutral packing for sea/air, humidity control, end-cap protection for bars
RFQ template we reply within 2 working hours with: (a) in-stock size, (b) mill lead time, (c) substitution warning if customer spec mismatches GH4141 (e.g. asking 718 properties at 760℃)
GH4141 is a 650–870℃ high-strength precipitation-hardened Ni-Cr-Co-Mo alloy. Shanghai COCESS Special Alloys Co., Ltd. stocks it as bar, plate, and forge-ready ingot/block, and converts it into cut lengths, sawn plates, rough-turned disks, rings, and profiled forgings with full UNS N07041 / AMS 5712 / GB/T 14992 documentation.
