Alloy Overview — Incoloy 925 / UNS N09925
Incoloy 925 is an age-hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy with deliberate additions of molybdenum, copper, titanium (1.9–2.4%), and aluminum (0.10–0.50%). The Ti+Al enables γ′-phase (Ni₃(Al,Ti)) precipitation hardening, giving the alloy yield strength >758 MPa (110 ksi) while retaining the excellent sour-gas and seawater corrosion resistance of Alloy 825. It is qualified to NACE MR0175 / ISO 15156 for sour (H₂S-containing) service and commonly selected for downhole tools, wellhead components, high-strength fasteners, and subsea flanges.
