(Meta: Full technical data sheet of Inconel 600 physical parameters. In stock plates, round bars, seamless tubes for global industrial purchasers.)
Inconel 600 (UNS N06600 / W.Nr. 2.4816) is a nickel-chromium-iron, solid-solution strengthened alloy widely used in heat treatment, chemical processing, nuclear power, and high-temperature furnace applications. It is not a precipitation-hardening alloy like Inconel 718, but it provides excellent resistance to chloride stress corrosion cracking, good oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures, and reliable mechanical properties across a broad temperature range. Shanghai COCESS Special Alloys Co., Ltd supplies Inconel 600 plates, sheets, bars, tubes, and custom-machined parts with full EN 10204 3.1 documentation and global export support.

Key Characteristics and Applications
Chloride Stress Corrosion Cracking Resistance: Superior to 300-series stainless steels in chloride-containing aqueous environments.
High-Temperature Oxidation Resistance: Performs well in air up to approximately 1150 – 1200 °C, forming a protective oxide scale.
Caustic Corrosion Resistance: Excellent resistance to sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and potassium hydroxide (KOH) solutions, especially at elevated temperatures.
Weldability and Formability: Can be welded using common techniques (TIG, MIG, SMAW) with matching or overalloyed fillers such as ERNiCr-3. Good cold-forming characteristics in the annealed condition.
Typical Applications:
Heat treatment furnaces: radiant tubes, muffles, retorts, annealing baskets, and fixtures
Chemical processing: nitric acid concentrators, reactors, and heat exchangers
Nuclear power: steam generator tubing and related components
