Waspaloy, also known as UNS N07001 and W. Nr. 2.4654, is a precipitation-hardenable nickel-based superalloy known for its excellent high temperature strength and good corrosion resistance, notably to oxidation, at service temperatures up to 1200°F (650°C) forcritical rotating applications, and up to 1600°F (870°C) for other less demanding applications. It also offers good fabricability and is particularly resistant to thermal fatigue. Waspaloy is commonly used in gas turbine engine components, such as turbine blades, disks, shafts, and fasteners, as well as in other high-temperature applications in the aerospace and industrial gas turbine industries.
