Incoloy 825, also known as Alloy 825, N08825, and W.Nr. 2.4858, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, and titanium. This alloy offers excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids, as well as seawater and other chloride-containing environments. Incoloy 825 is highly resistant to both reducing and oxidizing acids, stress-corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion. It is commonly used in applications such as chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas recovery, pickling operations, and marine engineering due to its exceptional corrosion resistance. Additionally, it is suitable for use in sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid processing equipment.
