Incoloy 800, also known as Alloy 800, N08800, and W.Nr. 1.4876, is a nickel-iron-chromium alloy with high strength and excellent resistance to oxidation and carburization at elevated temperatures. This alloy is designed for applications requiring corrosion resistance in various environments, including those with exposure to high temperatures and aggressive atmospheres. Incoloy 800 is commonly used in industrial furnaces, petrochemical processing, heat-treating equipment, and nitric acid processing due to its exceptional high-temperature properties and resistance to corrosion. Additionally, it finds application in power generation, particularly in steam superheater and reheater tubing systems, where it provides excellent high-temperature strength and resistance to oxidation and carburization.
