Incoloy 20, also known as Alloy 20, UNS N08020, and W.Nr. 2.4660, is a low carbon, niobium stabilised austentic nickel-iron-chromium alloy with alloying additions of copper and molybdenum, has excellent corrosion resistance in chemical environments containing sulfuric acid, and useful resistance to environments containing chlorides, nitric acid, and phosphoric acid. It also has good mechanical properties at both ambient and elevated temperatures. This alloy is commonly used in applications involving sulfuric acid, phosphoric acid, and other aggressive chemicals, as well as in the production of gasoline, solvents, explosives, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and food and synthetic materials.
