Incoloy 925, also known as Alloy 925, N09925, and W.Nr. 2.4375, is a precipitation hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, titanium, and aluminum. This alloy offers excellent resistance to a wide range of corrosive environments, including those containing sulfuric and phosphoric acids, as well as seawater and other chloride-containing environments. Incoloy 925 is highly resistant to both reducing and oxidizing acids, stress-corrosion cracking, and pitting and crevice corrosion. It is commonly used in applications such as chemical processing, pollution control, oil and gas recovery, pickling operations, and marine engineering due to its exceptional corrosion resistance. Additionally, it is suitable for use in sulfuric acid and phosphoric acid processing equipment.
