Hastelloy X, also known as Alloy X, UNS N06002, and W.Nr. 2.4665, is a nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy. It offers excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance up to 2200°F (1200°C). Hastelloy X is commonly used in gas turbine engine components, industrial furnace applications, and other high-temperature environments where corrosion and heat resistance are crucial. This alloy also exhibits good resistance to carburization and nitriding.

Hastelloy X

Applications

    Hastelloy X is commonly used in a variety of high-temperature applications, including:

    1. Gas turbine engine components: Due to its excellent high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance, Hastelloy X is often utilized in the hot section components of gas turbine engines, such as combustor cans, transition ducts, and afterburner parts.
